You guys – I’ve officially determined the most perfect drink to get from Starbucks around Christmas Time (in my opinion at least!). If you’re looking for a drink that tastes like Christmas in a Cup, look no further.

Some back story: I went to England last year and couldn’t figure out how to order normal coffee. I now know they call it ‘filtered coffee’ – but back then, I didn’t. Don’t judge. Not being able to survive without my coffee fix, I started drinking White Americanos. Once I got back home, I found I couldn’t drink coffee with sugar anymore. I was officially a ‘Just Milk’ girl.

Switch to my long-standing Starbucks order, a Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. My beloved year-round Christmas-in-a-cup beverage was too sweet. What was a girl to do!

I tried getting half-sweet, but it just never tasted right. As of yesterday, all my problems have been solved!

In a moment of exhaustion, I added an extra shot of espresso to my Peppermint White Mocha, and it somehow created the perfect blend of white chocolate, minty, and coffee! Look at that red cup in all its glory.

So, though it sounds pretentious as hell, I can confidently announce the perfect Starbucks drink for Christmas is a Grande Non-Fat No-Whip Triple Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha!

Show up at my doorstep with one of these babies and there’s a good chance we’ll be friends!
