At the beginning of this year, I set an intention and picked a word to guide my year. Create. I was going to create more this year and boy was I excited about it. Off the heels of my exciting YouTube video that hit 50K views, I was determined to make this the year I succeeded at YouTube. I had ambitious goals; I was going to get monetized, finally write all the blog posts, enjoy my time streaming, and finally create and sell my first printable.

I had all of the plans, and boy were they great plans. 

But, the strange thing about the world is, it usually doesn’t go according to plan. 

Instead of creating all of the internet things, little did I know I would spend most of the year creating my best creations yet – my sweet little twins! 

Meet Mila and Milo! 

I found out I was pregnant the day before my nephew’s birthday party back on February 12. My sister forced me to take a pregnancy test because I was a few days late. I was in absolute shock when the test turned positive. We did another one for good measure and then I called my doctor. We found out two weeks later we were expecting not one, but two little miracle babies!

The months that followed were filled with exhaustion, panic, and sheer desperation as we tried to get ready to welcome two babies into the world. As if two new babies weren’t enough to add to the docket, we also bought our first home. We were living in a rental townhome that had three stories and had no safe way in and out of the house with two babies in tow.

It’s been three months since these sweet little humans made their debut and it’s safe to say we are completely obsessed. I am finally feeling like I am getting into a rhythm and am very excited to start creating content again!
