I’ve been a pretty athletic person my entire life. Team sports are usually my jam. I played volleyball, box and field lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, and basketball back in the day. And I’m a pretty competitive person. I don’t like to be bad at things so I study how people play so I can get better.
One of my close friends was trying to convince me to join a soccer team with her. I had never played and didn’t know any of the girls. But, my wonderfully intuitive sister put ‘Join a Sports Team’ on my 27 x 28 list, likely so I would meet new people.
After some hesitation on my part, I agreed. I’m now a soccer player.

We played our first game tonight and won. Indoor soccer is definitely going to take some getting used to, though I think I’m really going to enjoy it. I play defense, so if you’ve got any tips to send my way, please do! I’ll be eternally grateful.
